Private ASL Classes

Are you interested in learning American Sign Language (ASL)? Whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your skills, my private ASL classes are designed to meet your individual learning needs. Before I had children, I taught ASL at my local AIDB (Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind). After the birth of my children, I moved to teach online via Zoom.

Current status: Accepting 5 students

Class Information:

Classes are customized based on your level, interests, and goals, ensuring that you learn at your own pace.
Class will meet for 45 minutes of teaching and 10 minutes of conversation practice once a week. You will choose your date and time.
Class will learn practical ASL that you can use in everyday interactions, with a focus on conversational skills, grammar, and Deaf culture. You will have vocabulary sheets and practical homework.

Plans:

Quick Start Plan
- $25 per class
- This is a pay per class plan that is perfect for those who want a flexible, no-commitment start to their learning
The Starter Bundle
- $85 for 4 classes
- This is a great option for those ready to commit to a mini-course and gain some solid progress.
Fluent & Focused Package
- $200 for 10 classes
- This is aimed at those who want to dive in deep and make lasting progress with consistent learning.

Payment & Cancellation Policy:

Quick Start Plan and Starter Bundle: Payment is due in full at the time of signup (You can send an invoice on Venmo I believe).
Fluent & Focused Package: Requires 50% payment upfront, with the remaining balance due after the 4th class.
Refund Policy: Classes are non-refundable, but students can reschedule with a 48-hour notice if they need to change a class date.
Instructor Changes: If I need to change a class date, I’ll notify students in advance and offer a makeup day.
